The Federation of Alliances Francaises USA will hold its Mid-Year Board Meeting on April 16-18 in Naples, Florida. Among the many agenda items will be the launch of our new Federation Website which will be online in May. The Federation will also finalize plans for our Assemblee Generale which will take place in New Orleans October 14-17, 2010. Our warmest congratulations to Rebecca Valette on her prestigious "Renaissance Award" which she received from Ambassador Pierre Vimont on Thursday, April 1st, at the Ambassadorial Residence in Washington, D.C. Dr. Valette's numerous contributions to Franco-American relations certainly deserve this special recognition.
The Alliance Francaise of Louisville, Kentucky was the recipient of the Morse Visibility Grant from the Federation of Alliances Francaises. Felicitations!
