Quality measures for all Alliance Française chapters

The Fondation and the Directorate-General of Globalization of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs’ office of Development and Partnerships are introducing quality measures in the entire network of Alliance Française chapters and centers and cultural institutes.

A reference guide of approximately 200 indicators has been created and divided into pages on eight areas: pedagogy and teaching, resource centers and documentation, communication/marketing and client relations, human resources, accounting and finance, facilities, cultural activity management and governance.
You can already consult Demarche_qualite-Referentiel_Alliances_francaises.pdf

Each page organizes the criteria into three categories:
  - mandatory : all Alliances, no matter what size, must as a rule satisfy these: these are fundamental in terms of respecting our activities;
  - highly recommended: the standards must be met to the greatest extent possible;
  - recommended: the standards should be applied according to the size and conditions of each establishment.

In adapting this reference guide, each Alliance undertakes a process of improving and perfecting their services.  A “tool box” accompanying the quality measures will gradually be made available for Alliance chapters online and will be completed starting in July.  It will assemble sample documents and practices to serve as references.
