The Alliance française chapters are private non for profit organizations aimed at encouraging the knowledge of the French language and of the French and francophone cultures in the USA.
They keep alive the spirit and the values of an organization founded in Paris in 1883 and now present in all the continents. There are nowadays 800 chapters around the world promoting the values of cultural dialog and mutual understanding.

There are many ways to help the volunteers of your local chapter of the Alliance Française:

• by becoming a member and volunteering yourself in the events of the Alliance française

• by making a donation and attending the fundraising events of your local chapter

• by establishing partnerships and sponsoring the cultural projets of the Alliance française
